LA's Hottest Event of the Summer - Party by the Pool
I was lucky enough not only have been invited to, but to have been one of the featured influencers at this summer’s hottest event: Party by the Pool. The event was hosted by The Modern Day Wife and held at The Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Picture this. A warm southern California evening at the chicest hotel set back in the hills of Los Angeles.
The event began at 4:30 pm with a private champagne toast on the red carpet. In order to get from the hotel lobby to where the event was being held, the hotel staff shuttles you via golf cart. This is where I ran into former RHOD, Leeann Locken and ended up sharing a golf cart ride with her to the party. Leeann’s warm and down to earth personality immediately set any pre-event jitters I had at ease.

Drinking champagne with so many other amazing women on the red carpet was definitely a moment I’ll never forget. Did I mention that the red carpet backdrop was several luxury cars? Yep, Drive LA was at the event with a Porsche, Mclaren, and Bentley. Having luxury cars and a red carpet were two of my favorite features that made the Party by the Pool LA’s hottest event of the summer!
Luxury cars weren’t the only eye candy at the event. The intricate flower walls, balloon arches, and beautifully decorated tea party made for an endless amount of photo ops!
And if you were there to shop, you were at the right place. With over 20 vendors, there was something for everyone, including skincare, clothing boutiques, jewelry, and even sunless tanning!
Let’s talk about the several panels that were part of the event. There was an influencer panel, a celebrity panel and a business panel. All three absolutely killed it and were definitely a highlight of the Party by the Pool.
Last but DEFINITELY not least was the fashion show by the pool, put on by The Naughty Girl Shop. This fashion show was absolutely epic and made me want to buy everything!
The show began with a burlesque style fire dance that was jaw dropping. The woman who danced was incredibly talented and kept us all on the edge of our seats.
The show was divided into three looks: swim, festival and dresses. Each girl that walked gave their own unique vibe to the look they wore and were total rockstars! What a way to end the hottest event in LA!
The beautiful co founders of The Modern Day Wife, Meghan Fialkoff and Meagan Ayres aren’t even close to being done with this year! They have several more events similar to The Party by the Pool scheduled this fall in Malibu, Scottsdale, Vancouver and LA, so STAY TUNED!
