Easy Everyday Makeup
People are always asking me about what makeup products I use so I've decided to spill it ALL for you guys here! My makeup routine is not always the same (mainly because I get bored or want to try new a product), but I'll outline what my current routine consists of.
I'll start with how I prep my skin. I don't want to get too much into my skincare routine, (because let's be honest, I can write an entire novel on that) but I do always prep my skin with my favorite sunscreen, Jan Marini SPF 45. It's seriously such a great base for makeup!
I like to line my upper and lower water line with MAC's Technakohl Liner in Graphblack. Next, I prime my lids with MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly. My go to shadows are MAC's Saddle, Cork and Vanilla. (Wow, I didn't realize how much MAC I wear until I started writing this!)
Moving on from my eyes to my face. My favorite concealer is the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under EyeI Concealer. It works great for no creasing!
I love wearing Jane Iredale Pressed Mineral Powder for everyday. It's so quick and easy to apply and the coverage is pretty amazing.
Next, I use Benefit's Hoola Matte Bronzer to do a little light contouring, followed by Becca's Pressed Highlighter. I LOVE Becca highlighters. My current favorite shades are Champagne Pop and Opal.
I love MAC's Blush Baby. It's a great shade for pretty much any skin tone.
I finish off my routine with Too Faced Hangover Setting Spray. This stuff is so fabulous! It sets your makeup all day and gives you the prettiest dewy complexion.
My favorite mascara to use on my bottom lashes is L'oreal Voluminous Mascara. As for mascara on my top lashes? Nope, don't need it! My eyelash extensions are AMAZING without it!!!
Lastly, are my lips. Right now, I'm loving Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood. Sometimes l'll swipe some MAC Cremesheen Glass in Fashion Scoop on top, if I'm feeling glossy. Otherwise I wear it alone.
So this may sound like a lot of makeup, but it really doesn't take that long (probably about twenty minutes). Most days, I don't wear eye shadow so that speeds things up, too. This routine doesn't take makeup artist skills to do - just a little practice if you're not used to wearing makeup.
I really hope this helps you feel like you can easily rock your makeup game!
