Abercrombie 90's Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans Review

Abercrombie 90's Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans Review

Truth be told, I only recently discovered Abercrombie jeans. Specifically, the 90’s ultra high rise straight jeans. I know you’re probably thinking, how has a fashion blogger never worn Abercrombie jeans? Honestly, I figured they were just some of the overrated products that bloggers like to push. That was until I finally tried them.

The first pair I tried on were the curve love, and they just didn’t work for me. I’m 5’3, roughly 135 lbs and the fit was just too baggy in the hips. I almost didn’t try on the “not curve love” pair because I thought they would be too similar. I’m so glad I did though because they fit like a dream. Even the ultra high rise seemed flattering, which is something I usually try and avoid being that I’m on the shorter side. Somehow though, these jeans just worked.

90’s Ultra High Rise Details

Here’s what I feel makes these jeans unique and what ultimately led me to create my Abercrombie 90’s ultra high rise straight jeans review.

The Fabric Composition

These jeans are made up of 99% cotton and 1% elastane. It’s that 1% elastane that makes them so darn comfortable. On the flip side, it also makes them stretch out a bit, in my opinion. I started with a size 28, which fit perfectly for the first few hours, but by the end of the day felt too baggy. I sized down to a 27 and am a happy girl.

The Inseam Options

The Abercrombie 90’s Ultra High Rise Jeans come in a variety of inseams. From extra short to extra long. Literally something for everyone. I have both the short and regular and love both for different outfits and different shoes.

Extra short inseam: 26.5”

Short inseam: 28.5”

Regular inseam: 30.5”

Long inseam: 32.5”

Extra long inseam: 34.5”

The Waistband Options

These jeans come with two different style waistbands styles: the regular and the criss-cross. I personally love both. Classic styles are well, classic, but a fun twist is also something I love trying. And let’s be honest, the v shape the criss-cross waistband creates is oh so flattering.

The Wash Options

There are so many wash options. Washes range anywhere from light blue, to dark blue, to grey, to black, to white. I have the “light” and “black” and both are great.

The Style Options

Not only are there a ton of wash options, but there are also a ton of style options, as well. Destroyed, carpenter, utility and split hem are just some of the styles you can choose from. I haven’t ventured out of just the basic style yet, but definitely plan to.

The Price Point

I couldn’t let you finish reading my Abercrombie 90’s Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans Review without letting you know how much they sell for. The 90’s straight jeans run right around $100, depending on style and wash. Abercrombie is known for having frequent sales, but they are also known for selling out quickly so make sure to act fast when they go on sale.

All in all, I feel like these are an incredible pair of jeans with many options for various body types.
